Mike Cunningham

Mike Cunningham currently serves as the Vice President and Head of Project Execution Oversight & Support at ACWA Power, a position held since July 2022. Prior to this role, Mike served as Chief Executive Officer at both Haya Power & Desalination Company BSC and Al Dur Power & Water Company from February 2019 to July 2022 and October 2016 to February 2019, respectively. Previously, Mike held the title of Executive Managing Officer at Jubail Water & Power Company (MARAFIQ IWPP) from May 2012 to October 2016. Mike's extensive experience in the power and water sector also includes various roles at International Power from September 2007 to May 2012, where responsibilities included Production Director and Commissioning Manager, as well as Area Operations Manager. Earlier career experiences occurred at RWE npower, where Mike worked from February 1999 to August 2007 in roles including Commissioning Manager, Project Manager, and Operations Manager.
