Wohl began their career in 1998 as a Media Relations Representative for Business Wire. Jessica then became a Correspondent for Thomson Reuters in 1999, where they covered the retail and consumer products industries. In 2014, they joined the Chicago Tribune Media Group as a Business Reporter. There they wrote stories on financial news and executive interviews, as well as profiles and features on various businesses and restaurants. In July 2015, Wohl joined Ad Age as a Senior Editor.
