William Platte

William Platte has over 20 years of work experience in the military and private sector. William began their career in 2000 as Company Commander at HQ's&A Company, 447th Signal Battalion, 15th Signal Brigade. In 2004, they took on the role of SGS at Fort Gordon Command Group, where they were responsible for coordinating command group operations and advising the command group on administration and staff action management. In 2008, they joined the 2nd Infantry Division as a Training and Exercises Officer. In 2011, they were appointed as Joint Modeling and Simulation Officer at ARCIC Joint Army Models and Simulation. In 2012, they took on the role of ARCIC LNO to LTG Walker at ARCIC LNO to Afghanistan. In 2014, they were appointed OIC of Futures Branch, M&S Branch, and Cyber Enterprise Service Center at Cyber Battle Lab and Combat Analyst TRAC Monterey at TRAC Monterey. In 2018, they joined Metova Federal as Vice President of Modeling & Simulation and Business Development. In 2020, they were appointed Senior Director Business Development for the Fort Gordon, AFC, Orlando, FL Markets at BAE Systems. Most recently in 2021, they were appointed Vice President Of Business Development at Ad hoc Research.

William Platte has a diverse educational background. William received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Georgia in 1996. In 2002, they earned a Master of Education from Troy State University in Education and Training and a second Master of Education from Troy University in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching in 2004. In 2006, they earned a Master of Science from the Naval Postgraduate School in Modeling and Simulating Virtual Environments and a Certificate of Engineering from the same institution in 2008. In 2015, they earned a Certificate of Data Science Toolbox from John Hopkins University in Data Scientist and Analytics. Platte also holds additional certifications in Capability Development (2017), Knowledge Management Officer (2016), Big Data Scientist (2015), and Engineering (2008).
