Theresa Mejia

Theresa is a first-generation Filipina American and first-generation college student. She graduated with her Master of Arts in Sociology and Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies, Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, with a minor in Public Health from Lehigh University. Before joining Ada, Theresa worked at different nonprofit organizations focused on contributing to impactful efforts uplifting communities. Knowledgeable and skilled in sociological theories, analytical research, and community building, Theresa is excited to build meaningful community partnerships to ensure that Black, Latine, Indigenous Americans, Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander, LGBTQIA+, and low-income women and gender-expansive adults know that they are the face of tech.
