Hadiyah Mujhid

Hadiyah Mujhid is the CEO and Founder of HBCUvc, a not-for-profit organization established in 2017 to foster investment within Black communities. Mujhid is also an Angel Investor with Ada Ventures, focusing on inclusive venture funding, and has held roles as an Angel Investor at Kibo School and a Venture Scout with Lightspeed Venture Partners and Indie.vc. Previous experience includes participation in the Echoing Green and Praxis Labs Fellowship programs, emphasizing social justice and entrepreneurship. As Co-Founder and Director of Education Programs and Outreach for Black Founders Startup Ventures, Mujhid aimed to support Black entrepreneurs in tech. Mujhid began a career as a Senior Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin, contributing to defense system software development, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and an MBA in Information Systems from Drexel University.
