Aaron Pataluna

Aaron Pataluna, M.S., has served as Commander at the Adams County Sheriff's Office in Colorado since June 2002, leading daily operations of the court security unit and overseeing significant budgets across multiple divisions. Pataluna's leadership experience includes managing a range of units with diverse team sizes and initiating innovative projects such as the Sheriff's Office first smartphone application and crime prevention programs. Previous roles include Sergeant in various divisions, Detective, and Senior Deputy, all emphasizing community safety, effective management, and collaboration with media and law enforcement. Pataluna holds a Master of Science in Security Management from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Arts in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from the University of Northern Colorado.
