Michael Karasek has extensive experience in law enforcement, serving as a Special Deputy and Firearms Training Instructor at the Adams County Sheriff's Office in Colorado since August 2017. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at the Denver Police Department from January 1982 to July 2016, including Patrol Sergeant and Street Crimes Sergeant. Michael's law enforcement career began at the LaGrange Police Department, where service occurred from June 1973 to January 1981 as a Police Officer, followed by a supervisory role as Sergeant at Will County Forest Preserve Police from January 1981 to January 1982. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Illinois, obtained between 1969 and 1973.
