Alex Vernon

Alex Vernon is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Strategic Management at Adams State University since July 2022, where responsibilities include teaching operations management, statistics, and data analytics. Previously, Alex Vernon held the role of Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus since August 2009 and was an Associate Professor of Operations Management at Millikin University's Tabor School of Business from August 2020 to July 2022. Prior to this, Alex Vernon spent over three decades at Missouri Southern State University as a Professor of Quantitative Analysis, teaching business statistics, statistical quality control, and operations management, as well as fulfilling department head duties. Academic credentials include a DBA in Quantitative Analysis from Louisiana Tech University, an MBA from the University of Mississippi, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
