James Walker

James Walker is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in wealth management and private banking. Currently serving as Partner and Head of Global Wealth at Adams Street Partners since November 2017, Walker leads a global team focused on Wealth Management clients and holds firmwide oversight for Marketing and Product Strategy, in addition to being a member of the Executive Committee. Previous roles include Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Credit Suisse, where Walker managed the Private Banking Americas division, and various leadership positions at Morgan Stanley and Citigroup, including Head of Product Strategy and Director of Finance. With a foundational career at Merrill Lynch, Walker has developed comprehensive expertise in business management, investment strategy, and client relationship management, underpinned by an MS in Management Science from MIT Sloan School of Management and a BA in Economics from The Catholic University of America.
