Irene Phoebe Kiwia

Irene Phoebe Kiwia is a seasoned entrepreneur and impact-driven leader with extensive experience in technology and community development across Africa. Currently serving as the Co-Founder and Chief Growth Officer at Adanian Labs since January 2020, Irene is pivotal in advancing tech innovation on the continent. As the Founder of Twaa and eCOBbA, Irene has created platforms empowering women globally and facilitating community savings and lending. Additionally, Irene established The Africa Blockchain Center to bolster blockchain capabilities in the region. Irene holds an MBA in Marketing and a BA in Political Science from the University of Dar es Salaam. Irene is also actively involved in several initiatives, including serving as an Advisory Board Member for AWEaP and as a WIA Ambassador for Tanzania, focusing on women’s economic development in Africa.
