Alena Maran

Alena Maran is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategy and marketing across various sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Strategy & Marketing at adapa Group since October 2024 and as an Expert in Residence at Sie Ventures, Alena supports female founders in assessing business ideas and coaching. Prior roles include Director of Strategy and Sustainability at Avery Dennison, where responsibilities encompassed developing sustainability strategies and leading recycling programs, along with experience in mergers and acquisitions. Alena's career started at PwC, where significant contributions were made in deals strategy and consulting, advising investors on greenfield projects and private equity strategies. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Management from Cass Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the State University — Higher School of Economics.
