James Neal

President & Managing Partner at AdaptaLogix

From 1997, James Neal has built out multiple industry-specific systems. In the 2000s, he entered the pharmaceutical industry and has since deployed systems for over 30 Clinical Research Organizations across the globe.

He started at ViroPharma, working in 28 different countries to consolidate systems into a Microsoft Dynamics deployment to move off Dynamics into SAP when the Shire bought ViroPharma. He was tasked with moving 70 enterprise applications including the ERP to Shire’s system. After leaving the Shire in 2014, James started at Tribridge building out multiple successful vertical systems and discovered the gap in infrastructure capabilities when it came to pharmaceutical companies. After a year, James left to start AdaptaLogix and started by assessing which system would be able to handle the infrastructure he had in mind.

After full evaluations of Microsoft, Sage, Oracle, Intacct, and NetSuite, it became apparent that NetSuite was the only system that could scale with the growth and complexity clinical stage and commercial pharmaceutical companies face while acknowledging the limited resources they have in the beginning.

James continues to drive AdaptaLogix's ability to deliver Tier 1 functionality and white-glove service to small and mid-market pharmaceuticals at a fraction of the resources traditionally required.
