Michael Ficarra

Michael Ficarra has over 30 years of work experience in engineering, project management, and consulting roles. Michael is currently the Vice President of Engineering and Operations at Adaptec Solutions, where they focus on removing obstacles to improve efficiency and teamwork. Prior to this, they served as an Executive Project Manager at Steadfast Consulting, helping businesses identify and eliminate bottlenecks in their processes. Michael also worked as a Senior Project Management & Engineering Consultant at JTF Automation, where they collected customer feedback to develop customized solutions. Earlier in their career, Michael held roles such as Senior Project Manager at Carestream Health, Senior Project Manager at Calvary Automation Systems, and Supervisor of Facilities Project Management at L3Harris Technologies. Michael has experience managing multi-million dollar projects, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring project goals are met. Michael began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Carleton Technologies and Dinaire Corp., where they developed innovative solutions to improve manufacturing processes. Michael holds a strong track record of delivering results and building collaborative relationships with stakeholders in various industries.

Michael Ficarra has an MBA from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School, where they completed the Executive Program with a concentration in Finance, Economics, and Strategy from 2008 to 2010. Michael also holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, which they obtained from 1990 to 1994. In addition, they have obtained certifications as a ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance and as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in 2016.
