Jalal Benharouga

Jalal Benharouga is an accomplished engineering and operations executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Network Engineering and Operations at Lyte Fiber, LLC since 2024, Benharouga previously held the role of Vice President of Engineering at Surf Internet from 2022 to 2024. With a robust background at NTS Communications from 2015 to 2020 as VP of Engineering and Inside Plant, as well as co-founding Truenorth in Dubai, Benharouga has demonstrated expertise in operations and brand development. Earlier roles include Head of Operations at du and various engineering positions at Windstream Communications. Benharouga holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Rice University, earned in 1999 and 1998, respectively.
