Dr. Sara Boiani

Dr. Sara Boiani is a Principal Scientist at Adaptimmune, where employment began in November 2018, previously holding the position of Senior Scientist. Prior experience includes roles as a Scientist at Charité Universitätmedizin Berlin from September 2016 to October 2018, and at the Max Delbrück Center from September 2013 to August 2016. Dr. Boiani also served as a Science Assistant at The Babraham Institute between October 2012 and July 2013, focusing on miR-155's role in activated B cell development through in vivo experiments. Early research experience includes a volunteer position at the Ramazzini Institute from January 2012 to September 2012. Academic qualifications include a Doctorate in Biology/Molecular Immunology from Freie Universität Berlin (2014-2019), a Master of Science in Medical Biotechnology from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna (2009-2011), and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the same institution (2006-2009).
