Adaptive Biotechnologies
Kimberly Fong is a Scientist II at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. since April 2021, with prior experience as a Research Scientist 3 at the University of Washington from August 2017 to April 2021. In this role, Kimberly designed and executed innovative in vitro assays to investigate the mechanical properties of protein interfaces at the single molecule level, employing various microscopy techniques for the analysis of cytoskeletal dynamics. Additionally, Kimberly contributed as a COVID-19 Laboratory Scientist, preparing patient samples for PCR and antibody testing in a BSL-2 clinical lab. Kimberly's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Washington, where the doctoral thesis focused on the regulation of microtubule nucleation, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology-Chemistry from Scripps College.
