Lena Mathew

Lena Mathew possesses extensive experience in laboratory management and molecular genetics, currently serving as Sr Manager of Laboratory Technical Supervisors at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. since March 2019, following a series of roles in laboratory supervision. Prior to this position, Lena worked at the University of Washington Medical Center as a Clinical Lab Manager and Research Scientist III, ensuring compliance and overseeing laboratory workflows, as well as conducting clinical-grade sequencing. Previous roles included Molecular Technologist III at Kaiser Permanente, contributing to various genetic testing techniques, and a Biosciences Technician at the Joint Genome Institute, where Lena supported high-throughput DNA sequencing. Additionally, experience as a Biological Sciences Aid at the USDA Rice Genetics Lab involved agricultural genetics research. Lena Mathew earned a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from the University of California, Davis, from 1999 to 2004.
