Shawn Hoopes

Shawn Hoopes has extensive work experience in the technology industry, primarily in training and technical support roles. Starting in 1991, they worked as a Technical Training Engineer at Novell for 20 years. In 2011, they joined Adaptive Computing as a Senior Technical Trainer and then transitioned to become the Director of Training and Technical Support in 2014. In 2018, they joined Altair as a Sr. Application Engineer, and in 2019, they became the Director of Training at SchedMD LLC.

Shawn Hoopes attended Brigham Young University from 1984 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Psychology. Shawn then pursued further education at the same university from 1987 to 1989 and earned a Master of Science degree in Experimental Psychology.
