Riko Eksteen

Riko Eksteen is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software development and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Head of Academy at Adaptive Financial Consulting since November 2014, Riko leads the training of developers across major cities and coordinates the Early Careers Programme, focusing on various web technologies. Riko has also held significant positions such as Head of Desktop Strategy, advising clients on smart desktop ecosystems and establishing a reputation as an industry thought leader. Previous roles include FDC3 Maintainer at FINOS, Senior Consultant, and quantitative development positions at BlueCrest Capital Management and Barclays Corporate & Investment Bank. Riko holds an Hons. B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Cape Town and a B.Comm. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Stellenbosch University.
