Andrew Setness, CPA,MBA,CFE

Andrew Setness, CPA, MBA, CFE, has extensive work experience in finance, accounting, and product management. Andrew is currently working as a Principal Product Manager at Workday Adaptive Planning since 2023. Previously, they served as a Principal Product Manager at Stratify Technologies, Inc. from 2021 to 2023.

Prior to that, Andrew worked at Workday Adaptive Planning as a Product Manager (Modeling) from 2019 to 2021. In this role, they acted as the Product Owner for Modeling scrum teams and was responsible for product discovery, creating product specifications, and collaborating with product leads to inform the product vision and roadmap.

From 2017 to 2019, Andrew held various roles at DialSource, including VP of Finance and Corporate Controller. As VP of Finance, they directed and coordinated accounting, finance, and human resources functions, implemented various software systems to increase efficiency, and reported on key performance indicators. As Corporate Controller, they implemented multiple software systems and led the organization through their first audit.

Before joining DialSource, Andrew worked as a Senior Accounting Consultant at Kranz & Associates from 2015 to 2017. In this role, they provided financial support and expertise to start-ups, venture firms, and public companies across various industries.

In 2014, Andrew served as the Accounting Department Manager at Shoe Palace. Andrew supervised a team and managed various accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, tax compliance, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting. Andrew also performed accounting duties for multiple LLCs and assisted in opening new store locations.

Earlier in their career, Andrew worked as an Accounting Associate (Audit) at Robert R. Redwitz & Co., a Revenue Assurance Representative at Polycom, and a Graduate Student Assistant at the California Department of Rehabilitation.

Before entering the finance field, Andrew gained experience as an Assistant Tour Director at Setness Tours from 2006 to 2010. Overall, their diverse work experience has equipped him with a wide range of skills in finance, accounting, and product management.

Andrew Setness, CPA, MBA, CFE, has an extensive education history. Andrew completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting from California State University-Sacramento from 2010 to 2012. Prior to their MBA, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis, from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, Andrew Setness obtained their High School Diploma from Lincoln High School from 2002 to 2006.

In addition to their educational achievements, Andrew Setness has several certifications. Andrew obtained the Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder certification from Salesforce in January 2019 and the Salesforce Administrator certification in October 2018. Andrew also holds the Adaptive Product Certification Program from Adaptive Insights. Furthermore, Andrew Setness is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California, certified by the Board of Accountancy. Lastly, they are a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) accredited by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
