Laura Hauns

Laura Hauns has a diverse work experience in the field of microbiology. From 1999 to 2013, they worked as a Clinical Microbiologist at Banner Health. In 2016, they joined Akonni Biosystems as a Research Microbiologist. In 2020, Laura started working at Frederick Health as a Molecular Microbiologist, where they contributed to the local COVID-19 diagnostic efforts. Currently, they serve as a Clinical Testing Lab Manager at Adaptive Phage Therapeutics, starting in 2022.

Laura Hauns attended Grand Canyon University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a degree in Biology with a focus in Biology and Humanities. From 2007 to 2010, they studied Epidemiology and Healthcare Management at Arizona State University, earning a MHSM degree.
