Steve Soper

Principal at AdaptivEdge

Steve started AdaptivEdge in 2013. Prior to AdaptivEdge, Steve served as Enterprise Software Practice Director at FusionStorm for 13 years. During his tenure at FusionStorm, Steve expanded an Oracle-only database consulting group into a diverse enterprise software practice covering Microsoft, Oracle and open source technologies.

Steve’s goal when starting AdaptivEdge was to focus on Microsoft and cloud solutions exclusively. As part of the cloud focus, Steve’s vision for AdaptivEdge was to shift from infrastructure-centered projects to line-of-business and industry-targeted solutions that deliver greater business impact. AdaptivEdge’s journey into more integrative and collaborative design work involving business stakeholders and end users has been a challenging but rewarding endeavor.

Prior to working in the technology field, Steve worked as a financial consultant in the healthcare industry, providing hospitals and skilled nursing facilities with expert financial planning, including Medicare/Medi-Cal reimbursement and investment feasibility studies. Steve’s technology, finance and healthcare background provides a broad perspective that fuels a strong desire to build custom-tailored technology solutions that drive efficiency and deliver measurable outcomes.

Steve holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accountancy from California State University, Sacramento. Additionally, he holds a SharePoint 2013 MCP certification.
