Frederico Carpinteiro

Frederico Carpinteiro is an accomplished professional in the biomedical field, currently serving as the CEO and Founder of Adapttech since 2015, a company focused on innovative wearable technologies for individuals with physical limitations. In addition to this role, Frederico is an Invited Professor at the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, teaching Management and Innovation in Bioengineering. Prior to these positions, Frederico gained research experience as a Student Researcher at BioStar, where a multidisciplinary group was created to promote knowledge exchange in bio-related image processing and analysis, and worked as a Trainee at INEB in geoepidemiology. Educational credentials include a Master’s in Bioengineering from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, participation in the COHiTEC program at Porto Business School, and an inRes program by Carnegie Mellon University.
