Derek Belew

As an Executive Assistant at Adasina Social Capital, Derek offers administrative and organizational support to the operations team and COO Maya Philipson. Derek brings their project management and technology experience from prior freelance projects to aid the team.

Derek has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and is an Associate Professional in Human Resources. After completing their degree, Derek began seeking a company that was making a positive impact through their work, ultimately leading to joining the Adasina team. Derek loves working with people and is motivated to help others wherever they can.

Derek also organizes a few charity events every year, raising money for LGBTQ+ communities.
