Franck Silva

Director, Global Project Management at ADC Therapeutics

Franck Silva has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Franck is currently the Director of Global Project Management at ADC Therapeutics since 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Project Leader in the same company.

From 2017 to 2020, Franck served as a Senior Project Manager and Project Manager in the CMC department at Immunocore. In this role, they were responsible for integrating Project Management within CMC across multiple development programs, leading cross-functional teams, managing external CMO/CROs, and facilitating effective PTMs. Franck also had close interaction with the CMC and regulatory groups.

Before joining Immunocore, Franck worked at Karus Therapeutics from 2007 to 2017. Franck held the role of Principal Scientist and Project Manager, leading medicinal chemistry projects and contributing to the successful nomination and IND filings of two clinical candidates. Franck also had experience in process development and designing small molecules for inflammation and cancer diseases. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Scientist in medicinal chemistry, focusing on the synthesis and characterization of small molecules.

At the start of their career, Franck had an industrial internship at GlaxoSmithKline in 2003, where they gained experience in medicinal chemistry and structure-activity relationship analysis.

Overall, Franck Silva has a strong background in project management and medicinal chemistry, with experience in leading teams, managing partnerships, and contributing to the development of clinical candidates.

Franck Silva's education history is as follows:

From 2004 to 2007, Franck attended the University of Oxford and obtained a DPhil in Organic Chemistry.

Prior to that, from 2002 to 2005, Franck pursued their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Organic Chemistry from ENSCM.

Before their Master's degree, from 1999 to 2002, Franck completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry. Franck attended Lycée Charlemagne/ENSCM during this period.

Franck's education journey began in 1996 at Lycee Helene Boucher, where they obtained their Baccalaureat S in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in 1999.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Franck has obtained several certifications, including the Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in November 2021, the GCP Foundation Course from the Institute of Clinical Research in March 2017, and the Prince2 Foundation & Practitioner certification from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in November 2016.
