Lauren Callender

Lauren Callender, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Scientist in Cell Biology at ADC Therapeutics, leading a team in the development of cell-based screening assays for target validation and clinical candidate selection. Simultaneously, Lauren is a Biology Expert at Outlier, focusing on generating complex biology-based prompts for AI models, and serves as the Creator and Chief Scribbler at Science Scribbles, an online gift shop for scientists. Previous roles include Senior Scientist II and Senior Scientist at Achilles Therapeutics plc, where Lauren managed a team for Translational Science, and a collaborative postdoctoral position at AstraZeneca, the University of Cambridge, and Addenbrooke's hospital, investigating immune-related adverse events in immuno-oncology therapies. Educationally, Lauren holds a PhD in Immunology, an MRes in Inflammation, and an MSc in Molecular Medicine, complemented by a bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Leeds.
