Pedro Luís Alves

Pedro Luís Alves is a seasoned scientist with a robust background in antibody screening and characterization, contributing significantly to throughput improvements at ADC Therapeutics since August 2017. Pedro has extensive experience in mentoring less experienced lab members, developing training programs in cell culture, and co-authoring relevant lab policies. In addition to scientific roles, Pedro has held leadership positions within the Portuguese Association of Researchers and Students in the UK (PARSUK), where responsibilities included stakeholder engagement and team support. Prior experience includes research at William Harvey Research Institute and the Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology, focusing on antibody therapies and protein studies, along with a commitment to environmental engagement through freelance work and founding the ADCT Green Team. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Applied Microbiology and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology.
