Lauren McAlexander has a diverse range of work experience in marketing and communications. In 2013, they worked as a tutor at the University of South Carolina. Lauren then interned at the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority, where they researched events and managed social media accounts. From 2014 to 2016, McAlexander served as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Cromer's, where they were responsible for marketing strategies and managing various social media platforms. Lauren then worked as a Marketing Coordinator at the Law Office of Kenneth E. Berger, LLC, where they managed web content, e-marketing, and communication with clients. In 2018, they became a Digital Marketing Strategist at ADCO Ideas | Interactive. Additionally, in 2020, they took on roles at AAF Midlands, serving as the Communications Chair and the American Advertising Awards Judging Chair.
Lauren McAlexander completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism from the University of South Carolina, attending from 2011 to 2015. In April 2018, they obtained a Social Marketing Certification from Hootsuite.
