Vivian Yao

Vivian Yao is a Client Engagement & Success Manager at Addepar, where the focus is on integrating data, technology, and human insight to enhance investment decision-making, a position held since June 2023. Concurrently, Vivian serves as an Investor at The Council, supporting founders that are modernizing traditional industries. Prior experience includes engagement management at BlackRock, where responsibilities encompassed strategic client engagement and product analysis for the Aladdin Investment Management Platform. Vivian also held the role of Expansion Director at Blueprint, Technology for Non-Profits, and completed various analyst positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, BlackRock, KPMG, and H&Q Asia Pacific. An active leader during university years, Vivian served as Vice President of Operations for Berkeley ABA. Educational qualifications include dual B.A. degrees in Interdisciplinary Studies and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, along with a Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Technology from UC Berkeley College of Engineering.
