Taylor Loyd

Taylor Loyd is a dedicated professional with experience in various roles focusing on community engagement, support for individuals with disabilities, and leadership in educational settings. Currently serving as Miss North Carolina 2023 and Miss Statesville 2023 under The Miss America Opportunity, Taylor promotes scholastic achievement and humanitarian initiatives such as Healing Hearts Through the Arts. As a Support Professional at The Arc of the Triangle, Inc., Taylor assists individuals with Intellectual/Developmental disabilities in achieving their personal goals. Additionally, as a Leadership Fellow with Addiction Professionals of North Carolina, Taylor works on initiatives to raise awareness about addiction in collegiate environments. Previous roles include a Lab Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the Gillings School of Global Public Health and Vice President of Recruitment for the UNC Panhellenic Association, highlighting strong organizational and leadership skills. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with double majors in Psychology and Classical Vocal Performance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
