David Emmett

David Emmett has a strong background in technical sales and business management, with experience in the additive manufacturing industry. David started their career at BAE Systems as a Development Engineer, focusing on dimensional metrology and process development. David then moved on to Renishaw PLC as an Application Development Engineer and later became a Field Application Engineer, specializing in laser interferometry and artifact encoders. At Renishaw Inc, they held the roles of Regional Sales Manager and Business Manager, overseeing a $26M+ business with 16 direct reports. David then joined Arcam AB as a Key Account Manager, where they helped drive the adoption of their technology differentiators. Most recently, they worked at GE Additive as a Technical Sales Leader before joining Additive Industries as a Sales Director, where they are tasked with building out the sales team and accelerating the adoption of their MetalFAB1 product. Throughout their career, David has demonstrated strong technical and commercial leadership skills.

David Emmett obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Surrey, completing their studies from 1992 to 1996.
