Shu Yi Shen

Shu Yi (Roxana) Shen is a highly experienced professional in research and development within the biotechnology and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as Director of R&D Laboratory Operations at Adela, Inc., and previously holding positions such as Associate Director of Laboratory Management and Senior Research Associate, Roxana has demonstrated expertise in laboratory leadership and management. Prior roles include Epigenetic Initiative R&D Lead at Princess Margaret Genomic Center and Research Laboratory Manager at University Health Network, along with experience as a Research Laboratory Technician III at Mount Sinai Hospital and a Research Associate at the University of Toronto. Roxana holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Microbial Ecology from the University of Toronto and a Biotechnology Technologist Diploma in Industrial Microbiology from Centennial College.
