Gemma Nelson

Gemma Nelson is an experienced professional in the tourism and events industry, currently serving as Advisor for Tourism Industry Development at the Adelaide Economic Development Agency since May 2024. Prior roles include Director of Sales for Conference & Events and Corporate Sales Executive at SKYCITY Adelaide from January 2019 to May 2024, as well as Sales Manager and Business Development Manager - International/Australia at the Adelaide Convention Bureau between June 2013 and July 2018. Earlier experience includes a Consultant position at Robert Walters and Team Leader at Flight Centre. Gemma also worked as a Case Handler at TLT Solicitors from July 2006 to October 2008. Gemma holds an LLB Law degree from Swansea University and a Certificate III in Tourism - Retail Sales from Franklyn Scholar.
