Tamil Selvan Anthonymuthu

Tamil Selvan Anthonymuthu has held various research-based roles since 2010. In 2021, they became the Director of Research and Development at Adeptrix Corporation, where they lead the company's product manufacturing, quality control, and R&D activities. Tamil Selvan also developed analytical methodology for protein quantitation using Bead-assisted mass spectrometry and identified Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) for product development validation and marketing.

From 2013 to 2021, Tamil Selvan Anthonymuthu worked at the University of Pittsburgh as an Assistant Professor, Research Instructor, Research Associate, and Postdoctoral Research Associate, where they designed and executed independent research projects and developed LC-MS-based bioanalytical tools for identification and quantification of lipids, proteins, metabolites, and lipid-protein adducts. Tamil Selvan was promoted to positions of increasing authority and responsibility in recognition of exemplary performance and strong leadership abilities.

In 2011, Tamil Selvan Anthonymuthu was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Brigham Young University, where they developed LC-MS-based bioanalytical tools for identification and quantification of lipids and proteins, published 3 manuscripts, performed grant writing, and established a rule-based lipid fragmentation tool.

In 2010, Tamil Selvan Anthonymuthu was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of British Columbia, where they investigated the potential interaction mechanism and kinetics of the outer membrane transport systems, LamB and LptDE complex, with their periplasmic counterparts utilizing membrane mimetic "Nanodiscs." Tamil Selvan also designed and conducted innovative research projects and developed high-proficiency in utilizing core molecular biology, cell-based assays, and cell culture techniques for critical project functions.

Additionally, in 2010, Tamil Selvan Anthonymuthu was an Associate Scientist at Kemin Industries Southasia Pvt.Ltd, where they designed and performed experiments, developed bioanalytical methods for enzymes, and demonstrated product performance to customers. Tamil Selvan was a key member of the product development team and an integral member of the research and development team tasked with designing a moisture-retaining antimicrobial product for agrifood usage. Tamil Selvan also developed key sensitive assay methods for enzymes used in formulating agrifood additives while concurrently assessing enzyme sources and mixture.

Tamil Selvan Anthonymuthu completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biotechnology (Enzyme Technology, Protein Sciences, Bioprocess Engineering) from Anna University in 2008. From 2001 to 2003, they earned their M. Tech in Biotechnology from Anna University. Tamil Selvan completed their B. Tech in Chemical Engineering from the University of Madras from 1997 to 2001.
