Mohamed Alshimy is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Chief Electrical Engineer at ADNOC Offshore since May 2023 and a Rig Electrical Auditor for Engineering for Petroleum & Inspection Services (EPIS) since November 2022, Mohamed also holds roles in operations and maintenance for mobile offshore processing units at ADES - Advanced Energy Systems and as Chief Engineer overseeing electrical personnel on jackup drilling operations. A long-standing career includes significant positions such as Chief Electrical Engineer at Sinotharwa Bahari-1 and Super Rig, as well as Senior Electrical Engineer at Weatherford. Mohamed began an engineering career as a Research and Testing Engineer at the Electricity Holding Company in Egypt. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ain Shams University and a High Education Diploma in Advanced System Control for Electrical Machines from Cairo University.
