Linda Choi MacDonald

Linda Choi MacDonald is currently the COO at Adesis. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operations Officer at Avanir Pharmaceuticals from January 2018 to December 2020. During their time at Avanir, Linda led cultural and organizational capability transformations across Information Technology, Information Systems, Facilities, Enterprise PMO, Alliance Management, Corporate Meeting Operations, Commercial and Clinical Supply Chains, and CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls). These transformations resulted in eminently positive impact to the P&L, employee experience metrics exceeding both internal and external pharmaceutical and high-performing pan-industry benchmarks, and the HBA (Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association) Luminary Award for being a “shining example of transformational leadership” and “serving as a role model … with a track record of helping advance others’ careers.”

Before Avanir, Linda served as VP & Head of Global Marketing & Patient Access Practice Operations at UCB from October 2011 to December 2017. In this role, they were responsible for global marketing strategy and operations for the neurology portfolio as well as leading the practice operations for patient access services globally.

Linda began their career at Eli Lilly and Company in 1995 as Senior Director of Sales for the Neuroscience Mid-Atlantic Region. Linda held various positions at Lilly over the next 16 years before joining UCB in 2011.

Linda has a proven track record of leading organizational transformations and driving operational excellence. Linda is a recognized leader in the healthcare industry, having received numerous awards and accolades throughout their career.

Linda Choi MacDonald has a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from The Ohio State University and a certification in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Eli Lilly and Company. Linda also has a Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Luminary Award.

Linda Choi MacDonald reports to Andrew Cottone, President & CEO. and Jack Church - Head, Corporate Operations reports to Linda Choi MacDonald. They work with M. Blake Edwards - Head, Quality, John Chiarello - Head, Chemistry, and David Baran - Head, Manufacturing.
