Iker Hernaez Canales has extensive experience in talent acquisition and recruitment. Iker currently works at Adevinta as a Talent Experience Lead, where they proactively identify and engages top talents in the tech industry, works with hiring managers, and implements strategies to prevent future vacancies. Iker also leads initiatives to ensure a great candidate experience and a diverse & inclusive environment, manages international job platforms and social media, and develops data-driven dashboards. Prior to Adevinta, they worked at LKS as a Senior Recruitment Consultant and at Accenture as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, where they focused on recruiting in security consulting, analytics operations, artificial intelligence, infrastructure consulting, and technology solutions. Iker also has experience in human resources roles at Personal Alemania, ManpowerGroup, ABGAM, Saljoar S.A, and Jakintza.

Iker Hernaez Canales obtained a Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Development from Esden Business School in 2012. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea between 2004 and 2010. In addition to their formal education, they also hold additional certifications including the Advanced Certificate of English from Cambridge, a Tecnico de RRHH from ESDEN, and a specialization in career guidance from Aosla-Gizalan.
