João Eça

João Eça has an extensive work experience spanning various industries. João started their career at Somague, where they held multiple roles as a Quality Officer, Testing and Commissioning Manager, Construction Manager, and Project Manager. João then moved on to Bain & Company, where they worked as a Consultant and later became a Case Team Leader. After that, they served as the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director at La Nevera Roja. João also worked as the Head of the Integration Office at StubHub and as a General Manager at Milanuncios. João has also gained experience as a Private Investor, Advisor, and Mentor for startups and small businesses. Most recently, they have held positions as the General Manager at coches.net and as a VP and Mobility General Manager at Adevinta. Additionally, João is currently serving as a Board Member at Antidote, a UX and playtesting solution for game developers and publishers.

João Eça has a strong educational background in Civil Engineering. João completed their BSc degree in Civil Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico in 2005. João further pursued their studies and obtained an MSc degree in Civil Engineering from the same institution in 2007. In the same year, they participated in an Erasmus program at Chalmers University of Technology, focusing on the management of Logistics and Transportation. Later, in 2011, João attended INSEAD and obtained an MBA degree in Business Administration in 2012.
