Kadir Karaman

Kadir Karaman has a strong and diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Kadir currently serves as the Vice President Finance Marketplaces at Adevinta, where they report directly to the Group CFO and works closely with executive committee members and market GMs to meet financial targets. Kadir manages a team of 8 direct reports and oversees 250+ finance, strategy, data&analytics employees across various markets.

Karaman is also a Board Member at OLX Brasil and Distilled, starting in 2023 and 2022 respectively. Prior to Adevinta, they worked at Coty, where they held the position of Vice President, Finance Transformation, Wella Divestiture. In this role, they led the establishment of the standalone Wella company and set up Transitional Finance Services globally within a tight timeline. Kadir also served as the Global Finance Leader for finance function transformation and was responsible for systems and process standardization, project management, and talent management.

Before Coty, Karaman worked at Procter & Gamble, where they held several finance leadership positions. Kadir served as the Regional CFO (Finance Director) for India & MEA Shave Care, Finance Director for EMEA Financial Planning & Analysis, and Finance Director for Corporate Finance, Tax & Commercial Finance in Caucasus and Central Asia Republics. Additionally, they worked as a Finance Manager for CEEMEA Baby Care and as a Commercial Finance Manager for Turkey Health and Beauty Care. Karaman started their career at Procter & Gamble as a Financial Analyst for the Turkey Sales Team.

Kadir Karaman completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University in 1999-2004. In 2019, they also pursued an Executive MBA from HEC Paris, specializing in Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Additionally, in the same year, Kadir obtained a certificate in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurial Leadership from Babson College.
