Sébastien Georget

Sébastien Georget has extensive experience in the technology sector. Sébastien currently works at Adevinta as the Tech and Data lead of the Trust and Transaction tribe. Prior to that, they worked as an Architect lead and Backend Tech Lead at the same company. Before joining Adevinta, Sébastien worked at Orange, where they held several leadership roles, including Services operations and infrastructure engineering deputy director and CTO for the Digital Factory, and Head of platforms engineering and operations for the Digital Factory. Sébastien also worked as an Engineering and operations team manager, overseeing the Orange french web portal platforms. Earlier in their career, Sébastien worked at Astek as a Consultant in various roles related to web infrastructure services, web platform engineering, and web system engineering. Sébastien also gained experience as a High-performance computing engineer at Inria and as a Webmaster/developer during an internship at MINES ParisTech - Ecole des mines de Paris. Additionally, Sébastien completed a developer project internship at Air Liquide and a network administrator internship at Inria.

Sébastien Georget obtained a Master's Degree in General Engineering (with honors) from Ecole centrale de Lyon in the field of Maths, comp. science, mechanics, energetics, materials, human sciences, management, and electronics. Prior to that, they completed their preparation for the competitive entrance examination to French Engineering Schools at Lycée Chrestien de Troyes, where they studied mathematics, physics, chemistry, philosophy, English, and engineering industrial science. Apart from their formal education, Sébastien has also obtained several additional certifications in various fields, including data analysis, programming, IT service management, and web development.
