Anjana Raghu Ram has a diverse work experience in various industries. Anjana started their career as a Correspondent/Copy Editor at The Times of India Group in 2010, where they ideated and reported for supplements and managed and edited a neighborhood fortnightly. In 2014, they became an Assistant Professor at Stella Maris College, teaching undergraduate courses, updating the Department website, and coordinating content for the Department newsletter. Anjana then worked as a Freelance Features Writer at The Qs from 2017 to 2018, focusing on long-form in-depth interviews and research on performing arts. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Communication and Content Developer at Apollo Hospitals, where they drafted leadership communication, wrote and edited content for various programs, and developed induction content speeches. Currently, they are working at Adfactors PR in the role of PR and Communications.

Anjana Raghu Ram began their education at Stella Maris College in Chennai in 2003, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2006, they enrolled at Jawaharlal Nehru University and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Sociology, which they completed in 2008. Later in 2008, Anjana attended the Asian College of Journalism in Chennai, specializing in Print, and earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism by the end of 2009.
