Shamitha Hegde

Shamitha Hegde has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Shamitha is currently employed at Adfactors PR since 2016, where they have held various roles including Account Manager, Assistant Account Manager, Senior Account Executive, Account Executive, Associate Account Executive, and Trainee Account Executive. Before joining Adfactors PR, they worked at Wordist as a Digital Marketing Executive/ Copywriting from 2015 to 2016. In addition, they also gained experience as a Student Intern at Eureka School - An Aid India Initiative in 2015, Red Chariots Event Management & Marketing Pvt Ltd in 2014, Green Park Hotel in 2014, Chennai Online in 2012, and The New Indian Express in 2011.

Shamitha Hegde's education history begins with their attending Velammal Matriculation Hr. Sec. School in Mogappair from 1996 to 2008, where they completed their education from Junior K.G. to 10th Std. Afterward, they went to Velammal Matriculation Hr. Sec. School in Surapet from 2008 to 2010, where they studied Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Biology in 11th and 12th Std.

Moving on to higher education, Shamitha attended M.O.P.Vaishnav College from 2010 to 2013, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Public Relations and Advertising at Stella Maris College from 2013 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Shamitha has earned several certifications. Shamitha completed a Specialization in Marketing Communication & PR from upGrad in July 2020 and obtained a Specialization in Social Media & Content Marketing from the same institution in June 2020. Earlier, in February 2020, they achieved a Post Graduate degree in Digital Marketing & Communication, also from upGrad. In April 2019, they obtained a Diploma in Copywriting from The Blackford Centre. Finally, in November 2017, they completed a course on Social Media in Public Relations from Coursera.
