Michael Owens

Michael Owens has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Michael currently holds the position of Vice President, Development at ADFITECH, Inc. starting from January 2024. Prior to this, they served as a Director, Consulting at Cognizant from January 2020 to August 2023. Michael also worked as a Cloud Manager at Maxar Technologies from July 2016 to September 2019 and as an SRE Cloud Manager at Cisco from June 2015 to June 2016. Before that, they held the position of AWS Architect at Gloo from January 2014 to June 2015 and DevOps Manager at PGi from January 2011 to January 2013. Michael also has experience in software development, having worked at Level 3 Communications from March 2010 to January 2011. Michael's earlier roles include EMEA Director at Andrew from October 2004 to June 2008, UK Managing Director at iTouch from January 2000 to September 2003, and EMEA Manager at Grayson Wireless/Allen Telecom from October 1997 to January 2000.

Michael Owens earned a BSEE degree in Electronics Engineering from San Diego State University, which they attended from 1985 to 1990. Michael furthered their education by completing an MBA in Business at Henley Business School in London from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their degrees, Michael also obtained a SAFe® 4 Certified Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2018.
