Senior Construction Administrator

Job Duties:

As a Senior Construction Administrator, your role will involve:

• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.

• Facilitating approval of construction submissions, including drawings and material samples.

• Monitoring construction contracts, bonds, warranties, and related documents.

• Processing pay applications.

• Reviewing project schedules.

• Conducting regular on-site visits to ensure work aligns with contract documents and client standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High School Diploma and a minimum of 8+ years of project-related experience in design, engineering, construction, or a closely related field is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and regulations related to design and construction.
• Ability to exercise sound independent judgment within general policy guidelines.
• Exceptional diligence in maintaining records and files, with a focus on digital records (paperless office practices).
• Ability to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships with coworkers, contractors, and clients.
• Demonstrated ability to positively contribute to the firm's reputation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in a pleasant and kind manner.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with construction software such as Newforma, Procore, Bluebeam, Revit, Teams, and similar tools.
