Phil Gunnewiek

Phil Gunnewiek has a strong background in embedded software engineering, with experience in various roles at multiple companies. Phil began their career with a co-op position at BlackBerry in 2013, where they worked as an Embedded Systems Software Developer. In 2014, they joined Pebble Tech as an Embedded Software Engineer, before moving on to Fitbit in 2016. At Fitbit, they initially served as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Embedded Software Engineering Manager. In 2019, they joined AdHawk Microsystems as the Lead Embedded Software Engineer.

Phil Gunnewiek attended the University of Waterloo from 2009 to 2014, where they earned a degree in Computer Engineering with a focus on co-op studies.
