Winter Yan

Winter Yan is the VP of Manufacturing at AdHawk Microsystems. Winter has over thirteen years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with a focus on RF/microwave products.

Winter started their career as a Device Engineer at Paratek Microwave, where they worked on the development of bulk acoustic wave (BAW) products. Winter then moved to Avago Technologies, where they worked on the development of RF products, wafer-level chip scale packaging, and production test development.

In 2011, Winter joined Huawei as a Sr. RF/Microwave Engineer. During their time at Huawei, they worked on the development of reconfigurable RF/microwave products.

In 2012, Winter joined ROFS Microsystem as the VP of Marketing and Product. In this role, they were responsible for RF product marketing for consumer electronics and industry applications, as well as wireless semiconductor product planning and management.

Winter left ROFS Microsystem in 2015 to join W9 Technologies Ltd. as an Adjunct Professor. Winter remained in this role until 2018, when they joined AdHawk Microsystems as the VP of Manufacturing.

Winter Yan completed their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Winter then completed their M.A.Sc in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Finally, they completed their B. of Engineering in Automatic Control at Beijing Institute of Technology.
