Jay Jongmin Byun

Jay Jongmin Byun has a strong background in sales and executive management. Jay Jongmin began their career at 3M in 1999 as a Regional Sales Manager and later moved to W.L. Gore & Associates, where they served as Sales Lead, Director of Sales, and Key Account Manager for almost 10 years. In 2016, they joined Descente Global Retail as Vice President before becoming the Country Manager for New Balance in Korea in 2017. Jay then worked as the General Manager at Boardriders from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they are the Co-Chief Executive Officer at Brand Union Korea co. ltd, where they focus on providing consulting services for brand expansion and business strategy. In November 2023, they will begin their role as the Vice President of Sales at adidas.

Jay Jongmin Byun obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Yonsei University from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Literature from Sogang University from 1993 to 2000.
