Youcef S.

Youcef S. has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries.

Youcef began their career in 2014 as a Research Intern at LIAS Poitiers, where they focused on recommendation systems and built a recommendation system for a website using state-of-the-art techniques and ElasticSearch features.

In 2016, Youcef joined Cytora as a Machine Learning Intern, where they played a key role in scaling up the existing infrastructure to process a large amount of data quickly using Spark. Youcef also contributed to adding Arabic language support to the company's event streaming platform.

From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Data Scientist at École Polytechnique, specifically as a member of the X-Data Initiative team. Youcef designed and implemented machine learning algorithms for the organization.

In 2018, Youcef briefly worked as an Assistant Commission Member at Ministère des solidarités et de la santé.

Since 2020, they have been employed at Adikteev, an app re-engagement platform. Youcef initially joined as a Data Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Tech Lead.

Youcef S. began their education in 2010 at Ecole nationale supérieure d'informatique d'Alger, where they pursued Preparatory classes in Computer Science until 2012. Following this, from 2012 to 2015, they attended the same institution and obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Computer Science. Subsequently, from 2015 to 2016, Youcef S. attended École Polytechnique, obtaining a Master 2 (M2) degree in Applied Mathematics.
