Akila Katuwawala

Akila Katuwawala is a Scientist II in Computational Biology at Adimab, currently working on evidence-based policy development for national level policy making at the Ministry of National Policies and Economic Affairs. Previously, Akila was a Research Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University. Akila holds a PhD in Computer Science from Virginia Commonwealth University, an MSc in Advanced Software Engineering from the University of Westminster, and a BSc (Hon's) in Biological Sciences from the University of Colombo. Additionally, Akila has a background in Computer Science with degrees from the University of Greenwich and The British Computer Society.
