Principal Research Associate II at Adimab

Mrunal Sakharkar has worked for a variety of companies since 2014. In 2014, they were a Summer Research Intern at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. In 2015, they were a Summer Intern at Cipla. In 2016, they were a Summer Intern at Johnson & Johnson and an Undergraduate Researcher at Institute Of Chemical Technology. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Graduate Student Assistant, a Graduate Student Researcher, and a Pre Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. Her thesis project was "Development of micropatterned films for ophthalmic drug delivery". Mrunal designed photomasks, optimized GRAS polymer-based formulations, and characterized and analyzed the formulation using various techniques. Finally, since 2019 they have been a Principal Research Associate, a Research Associate II, and a Pre Doctoral Research Associate at Adimab, LLC.

Mrunal Sakharkar completed their Bachelor of Technology in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai in 2017. Prior to that, they attended Birla School, Kalyan from 1998 to 2012. In 2019, they received their Masters in Pharmaceutics from the University of Pittsburgh.
